Four airplanes and 12 people joined BFC’s fly-out from Meadows Field to Santa Ynez Airport. The group enjoyed a hike to the Chumash Museum, followed by lunch at the Chumash Casino Resort. A great Saturday spent exploring and connecting beyond the airport!

Bring your questions for the controllers and learn how your local ATC facility works. Participate in an informative discussion with fellow area pilots and review recent incidents involving pilot-controller interaction.

About 60–70 members and guests gathered for the Bakersfield Flying Club’s Ghostly Gala! The evening featured raffle prizes, a photo booth, simulator fun, and great conversations.

Five airplanes brought BFC members to New Cuyama for an afternoon of good food and exploring. Some headed to the Buckhorn restaurant for lunch, while others checked out the outdoor market before everyone reunited for a group photo. Arriving around noon, members enjoyed lunch at the Buckhorn and browsed the outdoor market. If you haven’t tried the Buckhorn yet, our members recommend making it a stop on your next visit!
