Zach Solos on 16th Birthday!

A big 16th birthday excitement for BFC member Zachary! Zachary and CFI Fred Webster went up for a flight to make sure Zachary was up to the task of flying solo today on his birthday. CFI Fred said Zachary did an awesome job flying up to Minter Field for some pattern work. They did a few landings at Meadows as well before CFI Fred hopped out and told Zachary to go have some fun solo. The Bakersfield tower wished Zachary Happy Birthday and said he did awesome on this 3 landings! Mom, Dad, brother and Grandfather were all in attendance for the big day, Congratulations from the BFC!
