Nick Costigan earns PPL on his way to becoming a professional pilot!

Zach started his aviation dreams with Fred Webster his Young Eagle Pilot on a flight out of L45 on 06/2017.  Zach soled on his 16^th Birthday with Family and Friends attending on 08/11/2018.  Zach balanced his flying while earning his Black Belt in Karate and maintaining a 4.2 GPA with all Honors Classes.  Zachary was delayed due to the Pandemic that closed the BFC.  He plans to take his parents flying soon. Please congratulate Zach when you see him around the BFC.

Congratulations to Ed Tietjen and Courtney Risner who just got back from an Alaskan adventure where they both earned Airplane Single Engine Sea (ASES) ratings! The seaplane rating is one of the most fun ratings a pilot can earn, and can really test skills when operating in strong winds (there are no brakes) or over glassy water. Now both Ed and Courtney want to do back country training, and Alaska is the perfect place to go.
